I also want to point out that DGAF is a MUCH smarter cheater than someone like Postle.

I'm sure if you looked into more of DGAF's hands you would see this sunglasses pressing in other big spots as well followed by flawless play. The only times I have seen him do this sunglasses adjustment where he presses them into his forehead is during big pots, and his plays in these hands are always spot on. I have put some timestamps below where I have seen this occur. I put adjust in quotes because he is basically pressing the sunglasses into his forehead like he is pressing some sort of button. One of the things that I have noticed in the few streams that I have watched is that he seems to regularly "adjust" his sunglasses in big pots. I have been looking at sessions that DGAF has played and looking for suspicious hand histories as well as unusual body language or movements. When we both decide that "public opinion" is in our favor, what next? I'd be embarrassed asking my practicing friends to use their escrow accounts to invite that headache, all for a thousand dollars.ĭGAF Pressing on Sunglasses to Signal for Help? (Multiple Instances) It's a function of the bet you're proposing being completely impossible to resolve. It's not a function of my ability to call in favors for a small escrow.

I am being very pompous here, but I believe I could get 10 law firms that would hold this money in escrow for the purpose of this bet. Working at AM law is no longer the draw that it once had, and your statement about you not knowing any firm that would hold that amount of money for this type of bet is a function of your lack of connections. You guys worked for partner track and followed a path that was patterned off of what you saw and thought was possible. I’m going to state this bluntly but our generation is much different than yours. I understand it from that perspective and my statement about owning a law firm is a little suspect in itself. I'm saying that as someone who's practiced at Am Law 100 firms for years, I'd struggle to come up with any reputable firm that would hold an amount as small as 1k based on an internet bet that would be resolved by "the 'rule' of public opinion." It's a preposterous thing to propose and I can't reasonably conclude that you're being serious in this thread. There are so many ****ing red flags I’m about to question your seriousness. How is your bullshit meter going off for my comments but not going off where the very company being investigated is the one who hired third party investigator. I’ll give you 5-1 on $10k that I own a law firm.Īnd sorry I do not trust any of these people. If you think DGAF cheated, let's put some cash on it. My offer remains open to any other serious parties. Even if you're telling the truth here, given your ideas about resolving the bet, I have to conclude that you're not serious about this. You're also saying you own a law firm and you have other law firms that will act as an escrow for a thousand dollar bet that turns on "the 'rule' of public opinion"? As a retired attorney myself (yes, really), you're really setting off my BS-detector here. Your concern about a conflict of interest is overblown, especially in light of the fact that they have already publicly discovered a Hustler employee breaking the law. The only reason you think the bet is "ambiguous" is because you're trying to have it resolve based on "2p2 and Reddit as arbiters." That's not a tenable system to resolve a bet, which is why I suggested that we resolve it based on the findings of the actual third party firm that's currently investigating the issue.
